What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Indiana

We will be negotiating either a partnership dissolution or a change in partner ownership so that one partner owns more than 50%.

Can you tell me the legal implications of switching from 50/50 to 51/49 or 75/25 or 90/10? In other words, if one partner owns the majority, in what areas does the actual percentage come into play?

Would it matter in the eyes of the bank? For example, would someone with 75% ownership in a company appear to have more equity than a 51% owner?

Thank you!
