I am starting a new website company and would like to use the word "association" in the title and I am curious if there is any legal reason that I cannot use the word? The company will be a private for profit membership website but will not be a non-profit organization. It will not be a typical association and I just want to use the word in the name of my company. I have done extensive searching on the web and have spoken with numerous colleagues and have gotten conflicting answers. Any advice would be appreciated.
