Hello!

My husband had his license suspended in 2008. He was mailed a letter saying that he had a number of days to complete the Driver Improvement Program (had received two tickets and been involved in an accident in a 12 month period) else his license would be suspended.

At the time, he was working as a travelling sales representative and was often on the road for weeks at a time. Additionally, he hadn't changed his address, though his mail was being forwarded to his current address, then forwarded again to a seasonal address. By the time the letter reached us, it was too late.

He took his time reinstating his license, and passed the 90 day point. Now the suspension is on his record. To our understanding, the offense will remain on his record for three years (from December 2009 - when he had his license reinstated).

He accepted a new position in April of 2010. Two weeks after accepting and leaving his old job, he was informed that his new company would not be able to keep him in the position because of the suspension on his record (company car). He is working a retail job, meanwhile, as he cannot find employment in his area (sales) that doesn't require a passed MVR.

Is there ANY way to get the record of suspension (as I meantion, his license is no longer suspended--it was reinstated in December of 2009) removed from his MVR before December of 2012?

Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer!
