What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
My state is California.

I noticed on the California state webpage a section that offers an UNCLAIMED PROPERTY SEARCH. Can I go through and find information about other people and then contact them to let them know that they have unclaimed property. I then want to charge them a small fee for the information I have so they can reclaim their property. I realize that they can just go to the website and find out for themselfs but I think that most people do not know to go there and find out. Is this a legit business idea?
