E-Business based in Europe selling products in the US without having a presence there: visa regulations?
I do have an online business based in in the European Union where I sell certain products. Now the shop will also be available in the US. The products will be produced by a contract manufacturer in America, will be stored there, and once the customers in the US order a product another company takes over the individual fulfillment (shipping).
This means I do not ever have to be in the US to do business.
My question is: can I legally do that without starting a company on paper in the US? Or do I have to found a subsidiary in the US? What would this mean for paying taxes including sales tax?
Thank you a lot for your help already!
