Is passive contract renewal in Georgia ?

five years ago, I signed a two year contract with a security company. I recently found a deal with a new company for better service and my original company is saying that each year my contract auto renews (passively) and that I cannot cancel my service without paying the rest of the contract. Is this legal since I only signed up for two years?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Read your copy of the contract. When you signed it, it meant that you agreed to everything in it. If you had questions, you should have asked them before signing.
