What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

I'm preparing to launch a college sports blog and am curious about whether or not I should form an LLC (or other) first, what disclaimers I should include, responsibilities for content, etc.

What type of lawyer should I seek out to discuss these questions? Any ideas of cost I should anticipate?
