Yes. If indeed you do get the cease and desist letters out to both your current and former employers and you do get fired as a result, it IS legal for them to do so based solely upon the letter.

I hope that this is now perfectly clear to you.

Having read your other thread, I have two questions:

1. Why did you create a separate thread for this question?

2. Why do you want to send a cease and desist letter to your current employer? What is your current employer doing (other than receiving phone calls) that appears to be actionable to you?

I can answer #2. Current employer had the nerve to receive one of those calls on a speaker phone (like he knew before the call came in what information was going to be imparted) and SOMEONE MIGHT HAVE HEARD!!!!!
