I got a ticket for driving with a suspended license. (I had missed court date for a ticket for expired tags and didn't know it was suspended) I now have to pay a $700 fine, be on probation until it's paid, and be fingerprinted.

My question is how do I answer this question for my application for my insurance license.

"Have you been convicted of or are you currently charged with the commission of any crime or pled nolo contendere in a criminal proceeding or have you received first offender treatment or had adjudication of guilt withheld in a criminal proceeding, other than a minor traffic offense?
If yes, attach a supplement giving full details and attach certified copies of plea agreements and all court orders."

You answer YES and describe the circumstances and the penalty.
40-5-121 (if that's what you are charged with) is a misdemeanor and not a minor traffic offense. Better to report it now than to have your license yanked when it comes to light that you lied on the application later.
