My oldest son is in Pennsylvania but his home state is South Carolina. His father receied sole custody of my son while I was hospitalized - how do I get to change jurisdiction back to his home state of South Carolina? Also how is it possible that the Court's just gave him sole custody because I didn't show up for the hearings - when I was hospitalized. How is that possible.

It is very simple that the courts would grant sole custody to him:

1. when you are hospitalized (not a good sign)
2. you didn't answer the complaint concerning the court hearing.
