What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California
My father died in 1994 and he left a will that stated my oldest son was to inherit his coin collection. Up until last year my mother told me she sold it after his death. I have since found out that she lied and gave it to my older brother without explanation for myself or my son. In my opinion, she has stolen what was rightfully my sons inheritance.
Is there a statue of limitations? I am going to proceed with getting a copy of the will through the county so I have the exact copy.
Thank you in advance for any advice you may have.
