I would like the following questions answered:
* A known group of "eco-terrorist" activists trespass on a farmer’s field in Power County, Idaho. They are protesting genetically engineered agriculture and start tearing up a farmers crop. The local Sheriff’s office has been alerted that this might happen, and is standing by, waiting. Several dozen people move on to the field and get arrested. What happens next?
* Where do they get held (ie - prison)?
* Where will their case be heard?
* Would it make any difference if the farmer presses charges, or would the DA’s office prosecute something like this in any case?
* If several of the activists have no fixed address and are from out-of-state, is it possible that the judge will refuse to set bail, and if so, how long might they be held in jail ?
* If they have prior criminal records for this kind of crime in other states, would that effect the situation?
* If the farmer drops the charges, what would happen?
* If one of the kids were 17, would he be treated as an adult, or would he be treated differently (held in a different detention center, etc.)?
