Purchased something from a local retailer in June. They said it would be delivered last week in July. That changed to sometime August, not sometime September!

I want to just cancel the order.

They are claiming it is a "special order" and you can't cancel special orders. Why is this a special order if it is product on their showroom floor and they sell to everyone?

Isn't there some kind of law or statute that says over XX days and no delivery it can be cancelled and we get a refund?

Specifically this is in TN and is related to furniture purchase.

Did you sign any contract related to this purchase? Any paper at all might be that contract if it has terms on it and your signature.
