What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA
If I, as the principal to a life estate, am declared incompetent and control of the trust goes to the successor trustee, where does my lawyer's loyalty lay at that point--to the trust or to the principal--me?
What if I still remember something like my bank accounts or where my pets are, do I still have the right to ask my attorney for that information? Can I sent this information through someone else or do I need to contact my attorney directly?
