What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Arizona

On the divorce decree forms it has a section for the real property awarded to petitioner, respondent, etc.. I m curious, does anything additional need to be filed to get the transfer completed? Reading the paperwork it makes it sound like something has to be filed, but reading the instructions it sounds like they take care of it once decree is filed..

Honestly, no one can answer that question without more information.

For example, if a "real property" is a house with a mortgage, then nothing is going to be final until the party who was awarded the property refinances it into their name only...and the other party signs a quit claim deed as part of that refinance.

What needs to be done might vary depending on each "real property".
