What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Rhode Island
What's the law in RI (Cumberland) about notifying police about an accident in which there is no injury and damage to the vehicle hit of less sthan $1000?

No law says you must call the police to a accident scene.
That is not accurate. It largely depends on the type of accident. A accident not involving injury does not require police notification. It does require a person to exchange certain information including name, address, veh. reg., and DL. An injury accident does require notification of the police as does an accident involving damage no matter how severe that would limit the safe operation of a vehicle. (If you busted a persons windshield, although the replacement cost would typically be less than $1000 it would render the vehicle unsafe to drive and therefore require a report).

Yes, well the kind BOR linked the site, with the responsibilities, and I found out how to link sites directly from the page and I learned all about RI's accidents without copy paste delete go.

Thank you for the correction.
