What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Baltimore, MD

What if I believe that a person has bought to district court as evidence a signed contract that is forged as evidence. Is there a way to charge this person with forgery or fraud?

can you prove that it was forged. Proving beyond a reasonable doubt that it is a forgery and that the person submitting the contract to the court is ther forger?

If you can do that, then feel free to contact the police on the matter once your civil court case is concluded. The DA may decline to prosecute at their own discretion based on their available resources, he amount of proof offered and the monetary value involved.

Rather than what you believe, might it not be more significant to know what the person that purportedly signed the document believes?

The OP should re-assert this question in the original thread. While she asked there, it has not been answered as yet. There is context to the question.
