What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NE

A year ago I was sued by my ex-wife and eventually found to be in contempt of court. The judge issued a purge order. My ex's attorney wanted to schedule a court date for 3 months down the road to review whether or not I was following the purge order but the judge declined to do so stating that he didn't want this case on the courts schedule over and over. SO if my ex wants to review this case, will I have to be served papers by a deputy again or can they just simply send a letter saying that I have to appear in court?
