In Ky., if someone has a vehicle in their name and has the title for proof, but has been letting daughter in law drive the vehicle and is now asking for it back but she refuses, what can legally be done to get the vehicle back?

Take your key and retrieve the vehicle. Or call a tow truck and have it towed to your house. As a last resort sue her for the return of the vehicle.

Depending on the vehicle, you can take your VIN, ID and proof of ownership to a dealer for that model, and they may be able to sell you a replacement key. Then you can just drive the vehicle home.
