I recently had a pop up for what I believed to be child porn...i called my local police, filed a report then sent a report to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and also the FBI...I then cleaned my history, cache, cookies and ect...

Could I still get in trouble for reporting? I did not go looking for this (I find this all rather disgusting) but now I am concerned that what if stuff got on my computer with out my knowledge? Is it gone since I cleaned my computer? Any help would be nice, thank you.

cyber criminals have gotten high tech with stashing illegal material on proxy computers. if you feel that this may have happened to you there are a few steps to take to protect your computer. First, save any .jpg, .btm, or other photo files on a flashdrive. Second, buy a computer cleaner software available at more retailers. The software can wipe the computer of any photo images on your hard drive for you.
