I have recieved a temporary protective order and I am required to appear before a judge in 30 days in Superior court in Dekalb County, GA.

"...why temporary relief ordered by the court should not be continued and why the prayers of Petitioner should not be granted until further Order of the Court..."

Does this civil action mean this will be an official trial? Am I being charged with a crime? Do I need a lawyer present? Am I required to have A lawyer present?
What should I expect?

Thank You.
