Quicken WillMaker Plus 2011 - Law Books, Legal Forms & Software - Nolo

My wife and I are in our low 30s. Which type should we go with? Online or Quicken? We are looking for a good experience, maybe some techical help if we get stuck...

Also, it says you can update for 1 year on LegalZoom. With Quicken, can you use the 2011 version to update well past 2011, or do you have to buy quicken willmaker each year to update?

Any other tips, suggestions for 1st ime will makers?

Thanks!

There's really no need to worry about "will" updates because time simply passes. Changes to wills would more be dependent on live changes such as having children, death, or divorce.

While a will is a good backup strategy, depending on your situation there are other issues to be concerned with: ownership (titling) of major assets, beneficiaries on retirement and insurance accounts, whether trusts would be a good idea for you, etc....

Getting a will in place isn't a bad idea, but you may wish to consult a professional about long term issues.
