Is 15000.00 a fair settlement or should I sue? I dont want to go through the headache of suing if Im gonna end up around the same after all attorneys fees etc. are paid. I was almost 6 weeks pregnant at the time of accident. I was in the left hand turning lane a car from the right hand side hit my car on the front right hand side pushing me into oncoming traffic. Progressive put 90% fault on him 10% on me because they feel I got into the turning lane to soon. They offered me 12k went up to 15k and said they couldnt go any higher. It was very hard to conceive and 7 mnths later we still have not been able to get pregnant again. My ob said to get a lawyer but when she spoke to progressive they told me she said their was no way to prove the wreck caused it. I spoke to a lawyer he referred me to a specialist lawyer. I also spoke to someone who used to be a claims adjuster and she said it sounds like a bunch of b.s. on progressives part bacause I was already established in my lane, and I just need one dr. to say m/c could have been caused by wreck. It is everything I can do to get out of bed we wanted this baby so badly. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you in advance. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
