What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

Hi.

I've been writing my attorney for the last 2 months in an attempt to receive

copies of briefs filed in my case. He won't respond or mail me the documents.

What must I do to get them from him, and what reason might he have not to

want to give them to me?

Why do you want copies of the briefs? Are you an attorney, too? Do you have the expertise to read and understand them?

I want them because they're mine. Also I would like to read them. Will you help me get the copies; and would you be kind enough to explain why he wouldn't give them to me.

Anything "filed" in your case should be readily available from the court clerk. Having copies made there is generally much cheaper than your attorney making copies for you.
