What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

I am going through a nasty divorce in California. My ex and I were represented by a business attorney who set up our trusts, financial planning and corporations. My divorce attorney has requested all copies of documents, including bills. This business attorney refuses to provide me with any information although I am still his client (we did not terminate our relationship). Although I requested to be notified and informed of any corporate meeting with him, he has failed to do so and my ex has run up $10,000 worth of bills since separation. My attorney feels the business attorney is acting highly unethical, but right now, he is dealing with my other issues and does not want to deal with this.

What can I do?

What reason does the business attorney offer for his actions? I doubt that your patronage entitles you to view your husband's private records. Unless you are a corporate officer the attorney can't tell you about meeting with the corporation. Why do you think that he must do as you wish?

Good luck
