Missouri - If my 18-yr-old son has his car titled in his name only, and he is on an insurance plan with us (his parents), and if he has an accident and injures someone, does that injured party have a case to sue us (his parents) or only him?

so long as you were not driving the vehicle, or allowing him to drive the vehicle while not legally allowed to do so, then no an injured party doesn't have a case to sue you. just because you allow him on your insurance doesn't in any way make you responsible for his actions.

If he lives in the same household with you, there is a chance you could be named in a suit. Your insurance company would provide for your defense in that case.
