Florida - My son who was in a car accident is being discharged from the hospital because he does not have insurance and has not finished his therapy and other things that need to be fixed. If he now comes to my home because he has no where else to go, if he should fall and re-injure himself...would my homeowners be responsible? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

It depends what the incident is. Without a factual incident you can describe, and only a "what if," it's impossible to answer your question.

Once he becomes a resident of your home, your insurance would be no more liable for his injury as they would if you fell and got hurt.
