in ohio, what do you do for a 69.$ bad check that they took you to court for. the judge told my daughter to get a lawyer and she could face 6 mon. in jail,1000.$ fine. she is going to plead guilty, i do'nt know if she should??? is there somthing else here to make it so harsh a punishment?? seems like alot for 69.$

Was your daughter sued in Small Claims court, or was she indicted on Criminal charges ? Was that a criminal law judge saying that to her ?
