You are committing one or more federal felonies and could be sentenced to 36 months or more, way more depending on the amount.

It depends, are you talking about buying from overseas pharmaceutical companies or US pharmaceutical companies?

The FDA gives guidelines for purchasing prescription drugs from US companies (and even from overseas companies), over the internet.
http://www.fda.gov/Drugs/default.htm]Drugs

Dilaudid is a schedule II controlled substance.
It is illegal to purchase controlled substances from an overseas pharmacy although millions of people in the U.S. do it every year, mostly seniors, and enforcement is politically unpopular for personal use. These laws are rapidly changing/evolving

Some say, like this website below,it is legal now to purchase prescription drugs from Canada over the Internet here in the USA. I don't know the absolute truth of this.

The FDA does not recognize prescriptions other than "face to face" between you and your doctor.

It's unclear whether you have a prescription or not. If you don't have a prescription, then of course it's illegal. If you have a valid prescription then you need to fill with an FDA-approved pharmacy.

Please post the information you're basing this on. Because it's just plain wrong.
