What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MISSOURI

I go to a customers house to fix his computer. During the time I was working on the customers computer. He called a girl and upset her since he was drunk and acting stupid. I didn't know that she had called the police on him, nor did he. I got done with the repair and was walking to my car and 2 police cars were out front with their spot lights on me. Yelling "Craig! Put the Bag Down!". That's the customers name. Crazy drunken older guy. Anyway I put the bag down and walked towards the police officers. They suspected me of being drunk. I was tired and scared of how the customer "Craig" was acting and may of looked tweaked out a bit. The police officer told me that i was going to drive off and that he would arrest me if i put a foot inside the vehicle. I told the office, I was not going to drive off. I was only uncomfortable leaving my computer equipment inside because Craig was acting in a irresponsible manner. They called dispatch and gave them my drivers license number. The police officer asked "Your on probation, and your drinking? Was it worth going back to prison for"? and I nervously/ mistakenly told the cop i had a few shots. I meant to tell him, Craig had a few shots. By that time it was too late. He said he was going to tell my probation officer that I was drunk. At that point, I escorted them to the house, where the front door was locked. I had left it open, and the wind closed it. They ringed the door bell and when Craig's mother answered the door they immediately headed downstairs to speak to Craig. I immediately went into the bathroom. A few moments passed and the police leave the house. I call my dad to pick me up. This happened friday morning @ 6:45AM. I stayed the day at my parent's house, and was driven back later in the afternoon to get my vehicle and head to work. Today is Monday February 14th. My probation officer calls me to have me come in tomorrow February 15th. I accepted.

Can anyone give some insight in regards to this matter?

THANKS

your rendition of the situation does not sound believable. It is very strange that you would re-enter the house once you are done working on a "customers" computer and then hide in the bathroom of that stranger's house.

You admitting you were drinking can be held against you. If it comes down to it, the officers will likely testify that you appeared to be intoxicated, or at least under the influence and you apparently smelled of alcohol.

The very odd thing to me is; why would they continue to even concern themselves with you once you told them you were not Craig and you were there merely as a computer tech on a business call.

and a computer service call at 6 in the morning?

I wanted to avoid all contact with the police. The police were concerned with me because of how the girl may of made the situation seem much more escalated than it actually was. This was a computer service call and the man was somewhat a friend. I lived in the house next door years ago with the girl who called the police and her parents/ siblings. I started doing some work with the neighbor Craig and he was friends with the girl, who's name is Melissa. They dated and after a while he became rude and slight harassment toward Melissa. They broke up and Melissa discontinued contact with him for over a year. I had since moved out and started working and had my own place. I continued to do occasional computer repair jobs for Craig. Time when I did work for him we had common interests like cars and computers. I hated how he treated Melissa and told him several times to stop in a friendly manner. I suppose I wasn't as direct as I had to be, to get my point across. Time goes by and I start to really dislike the guy. I had to honor a warranty I gave on my repair which was 12 months. Parts began to fail inside his aging computer. I'm a very busy person and work 7 days a week with 2 jobs. One being a hotel front desk customer Representative and a Life Guard. I'm too busy typically to take care of matters in the evening so I set an appointment with Craig for the morning. During the time of my repair at approximately 6:00AM, Craig called Melissa over 10 times with her ignoring the calls. The very last time he called she answered and he went in a very strange psychotic drunken manner until she abruptly hangs up on him. During the call, I was working on the computer but also telling craig to hang up the phone. I even grabbed the phone from his ear to hang up on one of the calls. He was talking crazy and I could clearly imagine Melissa becoming royally freaked out by him. I continue configuring Craigs CPU Fan and hard drive IDE Cable setup until roughly 6:40AM. I then pack up and continue outside to pack up my gear with the intention to head back into the house for a short period of time for breakfast. I walked outside at 6:45AM when the Police arrive. If that doesn't explain the story enough I can answer any questions.

it was already a bit late for that wasn't it?

and what did it have to do with you? Oh ya, you involved yourself in the matter in a manner way beyond a computer tech on a service call would.

the only thing you have to worry about is: you admitted to drinking at 6 am and does the police report record their belief you had been drinking and what were the indications used to reach that decision.

I had told him I had a drink but had meant Craig obviously had all the drinks, since he was the one who started creating a problem with Melissa, Who in turn. Called the police.

With no proof at the scene and a passed urinalysis at my appointment tomorrow. What would be of concern?

urinalysis for what? alcohol? There isn't going to be a positive test several days after the incident. It will come down to what the officers recorded as their belief of the facts of the situation.

you mean like your admission to have been drinking as being no proof? I think an admission is considered as proof.

If I go to court for a violation I could hire an attorney and fight it. I may of looked drunk, but didn't act drunk. The police officer said I acted in a very civilized/ cooperating manner. I just don't want for this to be a violation. If there's no indication other than me lying and obviously not looking drunk in any way other than my chronic dry eye condition which causes red eyes. Which I could have backed up by a licensed doctor. I think it can be fought in court that even though i said i was, there is no physical factual proof and I've done perfectly so far in the 2 years I've been on. I would hope to be continued on probation with the same allotted amount of time remaining.

negative. UA EtG can show alcohol consumption up to 7 days, and Hair EtG can show up to 6 months ...
I stand somewhat corrected. I can find nothing that states it is a viable test for more than 80 hours through for the urine test. From what I read, the hair test can show indefinitely just as with a MJ test. Once it is in the hair, it remains.

Do you have something that shows the urine test valid for 7 days?

well, actually that is a "grey zone" between 80 and 160 hours in EtG testing. alcohol consumption still can be detected using modern equipment, but it is harder to prove _beverage alcohol_ consumption, instead of "NyQil everyday or Vannila extract based cake every morning". so, it cannot be used in court of law, but can alarm a trigger for probation.
