What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA
we purchased a home 3 months ago - the radon levels were elevated and the seller found a company that agreed to fix the levels. since the radon company guaranteed 100% that the radon would be elminated, we went with the purchase of the house. Since their remidiation efforts that have been going for 3 month, radon levels in our house went from 10 to 55 units! can we sue the radon company of the seller? (FYI - the levels are supposed to be below 4). More than that, the company is not in a hurry to fix it. It takes forever to schedyle another appointment, they never have people on staff and the ones who show up in our house just look at the installed equipment and practically don't do anything from what I can see. We have 4 vists from them already and the numbers just keep going up. Now we are planning to sell our house but would never be able to do that because of the high radon levels.
