[Washington State] I am getting ready to publish a book for children, highlighting favorite children's books and classics --- basically reviewing these books one per page in my book. Do I need permission from the publishers to show the bookcovers of each book within the pages of my book? I will not show illustrations nor will I quote any text. Full publisher credit information would be given for each book.

For example, on one page I might show "Where the Wild Things Are" and then follow it with an art project that I have created to go with the book, like making paper bag monster masks for kids to wear so they can be wild things. On the next page I might relate the activity to Harold and the Purple Crayon, and the art idea would be for kids to make a long purple crayon drawing on a sheet of butcher paper.

Thank you for your help.
