I live in new york state, in august of 2000 I started collecting benefits. I have filed a DBA for a hobby business, when I applied for benefits I was told as long as I wasn't making any projects or picking up a check from the co-op where my things are shown I didn't have to declare this as income. Now after receiving all the benefits I can, I got called in for a receive and have since been told I have to repay all thoses benefits. Should I fight this ruling?
