Small claims against who???

Your post talks about your daughter having to move from her apartment. Is she considering taking legal action against the apartment?? If so, we need a LOT more facts before evaluating.

Your post also talks about having a friend over and isn't clear if the friend started the fire or you daughter.
If the friend is responsible, is your daughter considering taking legal action against him/her?? If so, we need a LOT
more facts before evaluating.

Your post also talks about your daughters insurance. Is she considering taking legal action against the insurance carrier?? If so, we need a LOT more facts before evaluating.

Your post also talks about your daughter having to move into your basement. Is she considering taking legal action against your for her living in the basement?? If so, we need a LOT more facts before evaluating.

Bottom line... rewrite your post so that we can understand it and ask your question(s) in such a manner that we get some inkling of what you are trying to do.
