What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

My boyfriend is a photographer and he did a wedding, he took longer than normal to give the stuff they order and now that they have it they don't want it. They say it's poor quality and do not want it to be redone or anything, and they want a full refund. He spent 7 hrs shooting the wedding and about 5 hrs editing. They don't want to compensate him for his time, what can be done?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Are you telling us that he did not get at least a partial payment up front?:eek:

He showed the pictures to them, they loved them, but when he gave them the pictures printed and book they said they want money back that they do not like them

First of all, he should be posting, not you.

He can sue in small claims court, but he'll need to prove that the photos were initially approved, then rejected. He perhaps should have had a form for the customers to sign indicating their acceptance of what they saw and agreement to pay for the finished product.

They didn't have any contact because he is just starting the business and when show the pictures they wrote down which ones they wanted printed but not they don't like the job !
