Hi don't know if there are any lawyers out there, but my friend was arrested with the following charges in Connecticut. (I have removed certain info to protect his identity)
ASSAULT 2ND DEG D Felony 1
BREACH OF PEACE 2ND DEG B Misdemeanor 1
CRIMINAL TRESPASS 1ST DEG A Misdemeanor 1
SALE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE U Felony 1
OPERATION OF DRUG FACTORY U Felony 1
POSS CNTRLD SBSTNC/<4 OZ MRHNA U Misdemeanor 1
USE OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA C Misdemeanor 1
POSS CNTRLD SBSTNC/<4 OZ MRHNA U Misdemeanor 1
SALE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE U Felony 1
SALE OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE U Felony 1
He is in jail right now, bond set at 10,000. The only offense he has on record is a 4th degree larceny charge from 2006(misdemeanor). What do you think the chances are he'll go to jail?
I should also note they had a warrant which lists a few people who were caught by police and admitted to buying drugs off him. He has a public defender assigned to him.What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
