my disability att. out sourced my case to a disability advocate whom he said had handle disability cases for years and would be better at representing my case better. it was always hard to get intouch with her and when we went to court i felt as if she laid down and just let me get beat up by the judge.(specialy after she found i was on unemployment for 8 months and it moved my onset date back, the original att. knew of this) she never asked or went in to detail about my case to the judge. after the hearing she spoke to the work place specialist and said that he had spoke to the judge and he said i should of been on disability along time ago. forward 6 weeks i get an unfavorable desision letter, i inform her a.s.a.p. she wasn`t in her office(suprizing) her assistent said they would file an appeal immediatly. i waited a month or so and called her office to see if they have any info she wasn`t in this went on for a couple of weeks i even went by her office with no progress. i called my original att. and he said he had heared notihng from her and had called several times with no answer. i called ssdi and asked if an appeal had been filed on my behalf, they said no and that my appeal deadline had passed. they did say that i could file to have my appeal put back in line if i filled out a forum. my appeal is back in now i have released my original att. an the advocate. i was wondering would i have any legal ground to sue for lying to me about my case and also i lose some property while tring to wait this out and damaging my credit and investment in the property when i possible could of sold it.
