An acquaintance of mine was pulled over with marijuana in his possession and the officer went through his phone and traced the deal back to me. An under cover narcotics officer has been coming to my door when I'm not home asking my roommates to speak with me. I spoke with him over the phone and he wants to meet with me to discuss the text messages about the marijuana deal he saw from my phone on the other person's phone. I do not smoke marijuana nor do I sell it any longer. How can I avoid any trouble and should I meet with the officer or not?

It is likely the person told the detective about you.

I would not meet because you do not know what he needs in
order to charge you.

Be careful and do not believe what the police say. Consult with an
attorney. goodluck.
