What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Kentucky


I was indicted in 2007 for selling 5----7.5 hydrocodone for selling to a ci my question is the new Hb 463 is now in affect will I be charged under the new law or the old law thanks so much for the help I am just now in court proceddings.

You cannot be charged for breaking a law that was not in effect. You will be charged under the statutes existing at the time. in fact you should have already been charged.

While the law under which you were convicted is that which is effect at the time the crime was committed, some of the aspects of this bill, if it passes like the parole restrictions may not be considered prohibited by the Constitutional ex post facto restrictions.
