business age requirment?

Hi, i have a question for you. I just turned 17 in June. Can i start a Business? I would really like to start a website hosting business in my town of Groton MA, i just want to make sure it is legal. I was looking on the web, and i saw something, that said you can be under 18 in some states if you have a parent co-sign some papers. In addition, If i can start a business am i able to receive angel investments at my age? I know i cant get gov grants until i am 18. It is a little weird to have someone of my age contact you, but I am a young dedicated Entrepreneur. If someone can respond back that would be great, Thanks.
