I live in Indiana and wrote a bad check to a Walmart in Tennessee. I paid off the check and the twenty dollar fee six months ago. I am now in the process of going to court because they claim they didn't receive the money order. Western Union sent me a copy and they did in fact cash the order. Can I sue them for the three 500 mile round trips (1500 miles) that it has taken to get this resolved? What about time missed at work? How do I go about suing them?
