My friend, who can't read or write, has invented several products here in Alabama. His worker's comp attorney has:

1. Lent my friend money at 100% interest against a future judgement.
2. Taken 10 to 20% interest in all patents filed as well as over $2500.00 in cash.
3. Had my friend sign legal documents without benefit of having them read to him.
4. Had same documents notarized outside of my friend's presence.
5. Has failed to provide copies of said documents to my friend.

Is this standard procedure for patent attorney's? Is this ethical? If not, what procedures should my friend take?
