Breaks and Meal Breaks...Non-exempt staff scheduled for a shift from 7:30am to 4:00pm equals 8.5 hours. First question 8.5 hours means that I pay for their meal break. Do I have to pay for their meal break? Second question...do I have to give the staff a break by FLSA? If they choose not to take a break do I have to pay for that? Please help.
