I started a partnership with a friend of mine. Fast forward until today, we are no longer doing business together and I have withdrawn from the partnership. However, the business started off being financed by my personal credit cards and money lent to me by relatives. During the course of the business, my business partner decided he "needed" all of the profits just until he got back on his feet. This never happened. His half of all debts would be about $5500. I tried to resolve it with him, but he refuses to pay any amount. I am trying to pay back my relatives and credit card companies Do I have a case for small claims?
