i am a minor living in the state of texas. i was in a fight a while ago, and the police were called; when they came to the officer saw that i was fighting and frisked me because he wanted to check for a weapon,he claimed. He didnt find a weapon instead he found cigarettes. is this legal considering the officers intention was to search for a weapon? He felt on that pocket for a long period of time and I am sure he didn't think the soft package of cigarettes were a weapon.
