What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Massachusetts
As a charity fundraiser I am creating a raffle quilt. I would like to include applique blocks of professional sports team logos. Do I need to be concerned about trademark infringement?

Well, it depends. First off the fact you're doing it for charity means little in the cases that you needed permission but didn't.

If you are using fabric or appliques licensed by the teams involved, then your work is conforming as long as you do not use the trademark in a way that would be infringing (unlikely in this case).

If you're creating your own copy of the logo in the quilt, that is infringing.

If it's a charity you might have good luck getting permission.
