For San Francisco, CA, I just registered a sole proprietorship. One the paperwork it asks for residence address. Is okay to use a private mailbox location for all addresses on paperwork. I have an online business and would prefer to keep my home address private.

Thanks!

I assume you are talking about fictitious name registration. It varies with the county but the Santa Clara one specifically says no NOT use a PO Box or PMB.
