What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? SC

I need to start an LLC to operate an internet business in, and would like to know if a state like Wyoming, Nevada or Delaware is worth the hassle.

I already know I want to use a registered agent service, because I do not want my personal name showing up as the owner/manager of the business (so it is not tied back to the internet business.)

This is for privacy/competition reasons only, there's nothing illegal going on here, thank you very much!

I've read that Wyoming is the best state for LLCs/privacy/anonymous. But could I just LLC in my home state (south carolina) and use the registered agent service?

Thank you!
