What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CaliforniaWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? A 19 year old girl from NH let me know I was her father, I am doing DNA to find out for sure. I don't even remember her mom who admitted it was a one night stand. Would I owe back child support being I didn't know. There is no name on birth certificate for father. You don't owe any child support unless there is actually a court or administrative order in place.

That's what you'll need to find out. If you were found to be the father by default, it's possible that there's an order out there somewhere.

However, I'd be wary of 19 year olds coming to you and telling you that you're Daddy.

How does she know? (hint: she doesn't)

After DNA comes back we will know. Girl isn't mentioning she wants anything more than a relationship. I can't say I didn't sleep with mom. 19 years ago and in military.
