Then you have to file for a modification in custody and child support.

However, if the custody order has not been changed, don't be surprised if the other parent wants the child back as soon as you request a change in child support.

If the Office of the Attorney General did the original order, they'll file a 'Change of Status'.
However, you have to go to their office (or online), and fill out a request for service (application).
They are free, but slow and require that you have custody of your child for six months before they will file.
You can also file in District Court to Change Status ...
